"From the outside this cafe might not strike you right away. Though this is a place worth checking into. Just look at the print above the window and below the window, where ice cream is served to go, you will have a double take of all of the cake creations these two lovely guys have created. The cakes are deliciously awesome. Every cake is a special creation. The Ambiente while sitting inside, or outside in a wonderful garden is a one of a kind cozy experience. When visiting in Hildesheim this is a must where you need to go. Did I mention the breakfast they serve? Beware though! A reservation might be needed."

"I visited this charming tea, coffee, and cake house alone one afternoon and had a truly lovely experience. I was served by the two owners, both of whom were exceptionally kind and welcoming, and the service was genuinely outstanding. The Yogi Curcuma tea is delicious and feels very special, and the Herren Tarte is absolutely delicious and clearly made with great care. The atmosphere is romantic, traditional, and full of character, and the location is very central in Hildesheim. A truly authentic place that I would gladly recommend."

"Sonntag Nachmittag spontan ins Café Moritz gegangen – und absolut nicht bereut. Vor allem die freundliche Bedienung sorgt sofort für eine echte Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Dazu eine tolle Tortenauswahl, alles sehr lecker und ein wunderschönes Ambiente. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!"

"Dieses sehr kuriose und gemütliche Café ist sehr individuell und besonders gestaltet. Es ist ein wahrer Wohlfühlort, vor allem für LGBTQ+. Die Besitzer des Cafés sind ein schwules Paar, wodurch man sich nochmal sicherer und gut aufgehoben fühlt. Die Gestaltung ist einmalig und die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist enorm. Der Kuchen war super lecker und kam auch früh. Die Kuchen und Torten werden frisch vor Ort hergestellt, sodass man auch eine detaillierte Beschreibung bekommt, was in den Torten/Kuchen ist bei Unverträglichkeiten."
